Ruth W. Wilkinson of Leisuretown, Southampton, NJ died Thursday, January 21, 2010. She was 78. Born in Quincy, MA, Ruth was a descendent of John and Priscilla Alden, who were passengers on the Mayflower. Ruth was a longtime, active member of the Shawnee Baptist Church in Shamong. She was a member of the Medford Lakes Country Club. Ruth is the wife of the late Robert J. She is the mother of Kenneth R. (Kristina) of Columbus, OH and Susan W. (William F. Sommer) of Waterford. She is the grandmother of Stacey A. Sommer, Amber A. Wilkinson, Erin Wilkinson, and William E. Sommer. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, 11 AM at the Lechner Funeral Home, 24 N. Main St., Medford. Interment is the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 10AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
