John A. Forsythe, Sr. of Shamong, NJ died Monday, October 26, 2009. He was 80. Mr. Forsythe was born in Jersey City. He was a Labor Union Leader for Conrail in Bayonne, NJ. Mr. Forsythe is the husband of the late Carolyn E. (nee Lesner). He is the father of John A. (Rosemary), owner of WNJC and WIFI Radio Stations, of Shamong. He is the grandfather of Jennifer, John, III, and Susan, descendents of the Forsythe Family of Jersey City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover, NJ. Arrangements are by Lechner Funeral Home, Medford.
